One Year In The Life Of Choreographer Jiří Kylián

For Jiří Kylián the 2018-2019 theatre season was marked by two significant milestones. A premiere at Prague’s National Theatre entitled Kylián – Bridges Of Time, where the audience was presented with four ballet choreographies which Kylián himself rehearsed with the National Theatre‘s ballet ensemble in September and October 2018. The second significant moment came in March 2019, when Kylián became a member of the French Académie des Beaux Arts. Kylián lets us peek behind the scenes of both events, complementing them with very wise but at the same time modest commentaries concerning his life and work.
