Philharmonic Five At The Museum teamLab – Beethoven Meets Digital Art

  • © NHK – Japan Broadcasting Corporation

Philharmonic Five, a piano quintet formed mainly by the Vienna Philharmonic members, gave a concert at teamLab Planets, a Tokyo-based digital art museum that has received international attention. By arranging the works of Beethoven, whose 250th anniversary of birth will be celebrated in 2020, they will try to figure out the composer’s pioneer spirit and ingenuity that have carried through to our day. They will shed new light on Beethoven’s masterpieces in an artistic space that sits at the cutting edge of the 21st century.
