Rossini: L'Equivoco Stravagante

  • © Unitel

The directing duo Moshe Leiser and Patrice Caurier create a superb and witty realization of L'Equivoco Stravagante (The Bizarre Misunderstanding), one of the less-known operas of young Gioacchino Rossini. Conductor Carlo Rizzi together with the Orchestra Sinfonica Nazionale della RAI and his excellent singer ensemble offer an absolute musical highlight of the Rossini Festival. Critics praised the "brilliant young mezzo-soprano Teresa Iervolino" and Davide Luciano’s "glorious voice" (The Times). An absolute delightful entertainment for both ears and eyes: "The evening is simply stunning" (Neue Musik Zeitung). (Cat. no.: A 000 50068)
