Since 2004, the Summer Night Concert of the Wiener Philharmoniker evolved to a much-valued annual tradition. The Schönbrunn palace gardens form the magnificent backdrop of this free musical gift that the orchestra is donating to the people of Vienna and its visitors. In 2019, Chinese pianist Yuja Wang gave her debut in Schönbrunn with Gershwin's Rhapsody In Blue. Gustavo Dudamel conducted the Vienna Philharmonic featuring a programme inspired by the musical history of the USA.
