  • Studio 54 © Riddle Films

The Disco Years is a 4-part documentary series that looks at the ground-breaking musical, cultural and political movement, told by contemporary artists as well as the people who lived it. Featuring one of the greatest soundtracks ever, the series traces disco’s influence from its roots in World War II all the way to today with the #MeToo, #BlackLivesMatter and #TimesUp movements, the wave of social and political change surrounding the LGBQT communities, and the amazing artists who are pushing the boundaries of music once again. Narrated by Nile Rogers and produced in association with Elevation Pictures (Amazing Grace) and Shed Creative Pictures (Once Were Brothers: Robbie Robertson and The Band).
