Covid Fan Tutte

Cancelled work, financial losses and insecurity, postponed blockbusters, travel restrictions, social isolation, the adjustment of work around safety distances and equipment, quarantines, video meetings, audience restrictions, etc. are the new reality, which all of society, including the Finnish National Opera and its staff, must navigate long into the future. The rollercoaster of restrictions and insecurity has also produced a wealth of comic situations. These have inspired the themes of this unusual and very timely reinterpretation of the Mozart classic. Covid Fan Tutte sums up the Finnish Corona spring.
