Robert Wilson stages Händel's Messiah in the version completed by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart true to his signature aesthetic – in a play of light and shadow, a top-notch ensemble abducts the audience into a fairy-tale world. Marc Minkowski and his Les Musiciens du Louvre conjure up finely differentiated melodies in the orchestra pit.
