Kimmo Pohjonen Solo

Finland's most acclaimed world musician Kimmo Pohjonen is internationally known for revolutionizing accordion music, sound and performance. His custom-made, electrified and MIDIfied instrument plus voice, effects, samples, surround sound and light show combine to make a unique and captivating performance experience. Pohjonen's collaborations in recent years include projects with Köln Philharmonie, the Finnish National Ballet and Kronos Quartet. At the core of his diverse musical output is his wildly innovative solo accordion performance, which he has evolved over several decades of performances across the globe.
