Magdalena Kožená & Sir Simon Rattle With The BRSO

In his second appearance with the Bavarian Radio Symphony Orchestra in the year 2020, Sir Simon Rattle decided for a French-German programme. Maurice Ravel's ballet version of Ma Mère L'Oye was the canvas for the virtuoso skills and the sensitivity in aspects of colour and tone of the BRSO musicians. Magdalena Kožená was the soloist in Gustav Mahler's Rückert-Lieder: An example of pure and natural music making, supported by blind trust to the conductor.
