Tölöläb In Hangar (Tölöläb Feat. Karina & Verneri Pohjola)

Tölöläb is an electroacoustic group that breaks all musical boundaries. The group’s unique and recognizable sound is created by electronics organically tailored to acoustic instruments. Tölölab’s guests in the concert, recorded in an old airplane hangar at the Helsinki-Malmi airfield, are the dream-pop-duo Karina and jazz trumpeter Verneri Pohjola. The musical expression, ranging from meditative to violent, invades the vast hangar like an extensive soundscape. The concert, one entity from start to finish, consists of improvisations and Tölölab's arrangements of Karina's and Verneri Pohjola's works.
