OPUS KLASSIK 2020

OPUS KLASSIK is an award for classical music in Germany, given by the Verein zur Förderung der klassischen Musik. This society not only awards this prize to artists with outstanding recordings, but also puts the emphasis on supporting young musicians and musical projects. Despite of the necessary Corona restrictions, the event took place at the Konzerthaus Berlin and was an important sign for the cultural life in these special times. On stage, among others, were award winners Elīna Garanča, Jonas Kaufmann, Anne-Sophie Mutter, and Rudolf Buchbinder.
