PKF – Prague Philharmonia: Independence Day Concert

In celebration of the US Independence Day, the PKF – Prague Philharmonia recorded Antonín Dvořák’s Symphony No. 9 From The New World at the Petschek Villa, the Residence of the US Ambassador in Prague. The Residence was built in the late 1920s, during the brief flowering of the first republic of Czechoslovakia, by Otto Petschek, the patriarch of one of the wealthiest families in the country. The PKF – Prague Philharmonia is conducted by Leoš Svárovský.
