Prague Spring Festival 2020: Mahan Esfahani & PKF – Prague Philharmonia

For many years, Czech Television has been recording two concerts from the Prague Spring International Festival every year. This time, there was a concert by Iranian-American harpsichordist Mahan Esfahani, the last student of Zuzana Růžičková. He was able to return the harpsichord to the most prestigious stages in the world. This is confirmed by his successful performance at the BBC Proms 2011, which was the first ever harpsichord recital in the entire history of this festival. Esfahani was accompanied by the excellent Czech orchestra PKF – Prague Philharmonia, conducted by Jiří Rožeň.
