Salzburg Festival: Mozarteumorchester Salzburg & Ádám Fischer
The Mozart Matinees of the Mozarteumorchester Salzburg are considered one of the core elements of the Salzburg Festival and dedicated entirely to the music of the genius loci Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. Ádám Fischer puts Mozart's first and last symphony as a bracket on the programme: The self-confidence of the eight-year-old Mozart in the E flat major Symphony K. 16 stands up to the wisdom of the Jupiter Symphony at the height of his creative output. Pure Mozart joy!
