In Storm And Gale is a tale of one of Estonia’s most distinguished composer Veljo Tormis (1930-2017): how a village priest’s son became a composer who fascinated thousands of singers and listeners throughout the world. Of Tormis' heritage are speaking theatrologist and wife Lea Tormis, conductor Tõnu Kaljuste and young composer Rasmus Puur who has taken it upon himself to finish Tormis’ uncompleted opera.
