Christmas With Jonas Kaufmann

Jonas Kaufmann invites his prominent guests to a festive and cosy Christmas Eve. In a relaxed lounge atmosphere they meet for a chat, for singing and making music together and also for some Christmassy delicacies prepared by Maike Menzel, Germany’s youngest starred chef – with Jonas, being an enthusiastic amateur chef, assisting. But, of course, music is the main issue – and Jonas and his guests cover an amazing range of musical colors from traditional Christmas songs and carols to international “Christmas hits” in big band arrangements – and also a couple of Alpine folk music Christmas songs.
