Classic At The Dome 2021 – David Garrett & Band

Due to the postponement of the 2021 "Klassik am Dom" a unique opportunity presented itself: the Mariendom opened its doors to offer David Garrett, the pop star among violinists, a worthy stage. Garrett's virtuosity stops at neither Bach nor Metallica. Together with his band, he blurs the boundaries between popular and classical music. In Austria’s largest church David Garrett reviewed hits like "Nothing Else Matters", "Purple Rain", or "Viva la Vida", but he also returned to his roots and interpreted world-famous classical works, such as the Scherzo from Beethoven's 9th Symphony, Bach's "Air" or Debussy's "Clair de Lune".
