Rigoletto

Rigoletto is regarded as the first operatic masterpiece of Verdi’s mature artistic period. The famous Director Davide Livermore signs this new production of the classic Verdi title, here he seems to emphasize above all the inevitability of the drama, the impossibility for Gilda, an oppressed young woman, and for the parent, crushed by his role as inferior to the Duke and without signs of physical deformity, to escape his own destiny. A powerful show, with a great cast and with an expressive and visual strength, which gradually takes the viewer, at first a little bewildered, but then fascinated and moved.
