Every crisis, every social upheaval, comes with its own sound. When Carthage was conquered war fanfares sounded. The French Revolution came alive to the tune of the "Marseillaise." The Roaring Twenties sounded like Jazz. The hippie movement is unthinkable without the music of Bob Dylan. But what is the sound of the Covid-19 crisis? The film "Zukunftsmusik" turns the spotlight on Switzerland and uses the crisis as an opportunity to get musicians to reflect the social role of music – in our current time of upheaval and beyond.
