Hervé Koubi: Odyssey

Odyssey brings together two musicians, a singer and 14 performers with rich and varied Mediterranean roots. They take turns embodying the figure of Ulysses, embarking on a poetic and dreamlike journey. This great choreographic wave, powerful and sensual, is no longer adorned with heroic battles as in Homer, but reveals the cultural links, migrations and tumult of a sea that connects and carries lives. Odyssey, carried by the haunting voice of Natacha Atlas, is one of the choreographer's most ambitious works. The energy of hip-hop dialogues with the writing of contemporary dance to form a story of powerful modernity.
