Klaus Mäkelä Conducts Symphony Nº 9 By Mahler
Composed between 1909 and 1910 and premiered in Vienna in 1912, Symphony No° 9 in D major is an ode to orchestral music. Recorded without an audience in November 2020 at the Philharmonie de Paris, the concert is conducted by Klaus Mäkelä. A first for the young Finnish conductor, born in Helsinki in 1996, who will replace Daniel Harding as the head of the Orchestre de Paris in 2022.
