Legato – The World Of The Piano – Season II

Ten years ago, PARS Media produced the first season of their series of pianist portraits featuring Boris Berezovsky, Pierre-Laurent Aimard and Marc-André Hamelin, among others. The second season follows the proven modular system with three elements: a portrait documenting the interpretation of a work new to the pianist and showing her or him in dialogue with a personality important to her or him, a concert and an interview. Portrait and highlights from the concert are combined into a TV film, but at the same time a long format for streaming services and DVD and a serial format for media libraries are created.
