Peter Rösel: Recital In Tokyo

Peter Rösel, who was born in 1945 in Dresden, excels in pieces of the German classical school and the romantic school and is especially renowned for his presentation of Beethoven pieces. A Japanophile, Rösel left a strong impression on the Japanese fans with his concert covering all piano concertos by Beethoven in 2005, and concerts presenting all piano sonatas by Beethoven given over three years starting in 2008. During the concert that had been postponed due to the pandemic but was finally realized, he performed the last piano sonata of each maestro Haydn, Beethoven and Schubert. The recording was made in 4K images and stereo sound.
