Summernight Music – Open Air From Munich

After the cancellation in 2020 due to Covid, thousands of music lovers were happy to return to Munich’s picturesque Odeonsplatz last July to enjoy an open-air classical concert at its best. Featuring Beijing-born pianist Yuja Wang, who is celebrated for her charismatic artistry and captivating stage presence, the Munich Philharmonic played under the baton of the young Swiss conductor Lorenzo Viotti. The programme included, among others, Rachmaninoff’s Piano Concerto No. 2 and Ravel’s “Boléro”.
