The Water Man, The Opening Ceremony At The Beginning Of The Slovenian Presidency Of The Council Of The EU

The recording of the main cultural event marking the beginning of the Slovenian Presidency of the Council of the European Union (from 1 July to 31 December 2021). Beautiful Lake Bled was the setting to the premiere of the ballet Water Man choreographed by Edward Clug, featuring the dancers of the Slovene National Theatre Maribor and the Slovene National Theatre Maribor Symphony Orchestra with guests. The internationally renowned choreographer Edward Clug said: "I see Slovenia as an island in the great European sea. I see an island that needs this great sea to remain an island".
