Carl Nielsen – Between Heaven And Earth

The film is intended to draw a psychological portrait of Nielsen’s life and wants to arouse enthusiasm for this composer who is rarely performed in France and Germany, by showing on film the unusual and, in the truest sense of the word, cinematic life story, became the inspiration for great music. A portrait of the composer in turbulent times at the turn of the 20th century and World War I. The film does not work through the biographical stages of the composer's life, but concentrates on the emotional complexes conveyed by the fascinating personality and magic of his music.
