Passion-Week
Maximilian Ossejetisch Steinberg's Oratorio "Passionswoche" is considered the last major sacred composition in Russia after the October-Revolution. It owes it's style to the "New Russian School of Choir" after Tchaikowsky's "Chrysostomos-Liturgy " and the "Great Evening and Morning-Praise" by Rachmaninow. The performance will be conducted by young german choir-master Julia Selina Blank, who presently is based in Oslo.
