Gala From Berlin 2022

As the year draws to a close, the Berliner Philharmoniker and principal conductor Kirill Petrenko present a rousing Italian and Russian programme with tenor Jonas Kaufmann as star guest. Sonorous foundation, radiant high notes, intelligent shaping: all this makes him a leading singer worldwide. Other works include famous preludes from Italian opera, Piotr Tchaikovsky's rapturous Capriccio Italien and the most beautiful numbers from Sergei Prokofiev's ballet Romeo and Juliet with its blend of brilliance and striking expressiveness.
