Mahler: Symphony No. 2 'Resurrection'
A grand and complex opus, Symphony No. 2 in C minor for soprano, alto, chorus and orchestra engaged Mahler for seven years. The five macro sections into which the Symphony No. 2 is divided are therefore born separately and without a predetermined plan, which emerged in the mind of the composer in itinere. Warm and enthusiastic was the success given by the audience to Maestro Chung, the Chorus, the Orchestra and the soloists for a tense, clear and exciting performance.
