J.S. Bach – An Audio-Biography
This is a popular format in the repertoire of Münchner Rundfunkorchester and the Chor des Bayerischen Rundfunks: popular TV-actor and presenter Udo Wachtveitl tells the story of the life of Johann Sebastian Bach, as author Jörg Handstein has compiled and condensed it for a live audience in Munich's picturesque Prinzregenten-theatre. Exemplary pieces of Bach's music are performed by the choir and the orchestra - a lively and entertaining guide to the life of one of the world's most famous composers and to the intricacies of his most fascinating compositions.
