Kaija In The Mirror, Tribute To Kaija Saariaho

On the occasion of her 70th birthday, the Finnish composer Kaija Saariaho is the honorary guest of at the Musica Festival. Combining live performance and documentary, Kaija Saariaho's most faithful creative companions gather to salute the composer's career, through some of her outstanding pieces. Sonorous and virtual, the concert images are put in perspective with those filmed by her friend and director Anne Grange, who has followed her over the past few years. Between dreamed visions and testimonies, the public is invited to penetrate the intimacy of the composer's studio. A concert, a living documentary, a tribute to creativity.
