Midsummer Night's Gala Grafenegg 2022

Since 2006, the Summer Night Gala has heralded the start of the summer festival season of Grafenegg. In 2022, two important voices have announced themselves: the German soprano Marlis Petersen, known for her musical creative power and the Uruguayan-Spanish bass-baritone Erwin Schrott, with his rich timbre. These two world stars were joined by Selina Ott, a trumpet virtuoso of the younger generation who is about to conquer the great concert halls. As always, the concert event was accompanied by the Tonkünstler Orchestra under its principal conductor Yutaka Sado.
