Marie Jacquot, a rising star in the world of conductors, made her debut with the BRSO in October 2022. Her much acclaimed appearance featured Gautier Capuçon with a brilliant rendition of the Elgar Cello Concerto. The evening opened with David Hornes "The Turn of the Tide" and closed with the rarely played Symphony No. 2 by Richard Strauss.
