Chercheurs d'Orgues
Europe has thousands of historic organs, many of which are now protected and restored, revealing an astonishing stylistic diversity. “Chercheurs d'Orgues” (The European Organs) is a documentary film initiated by Bernard Foccroulle, former director of the Festival d'Aix-en-Provence, which invites us to travel through Europe and to discover the culture of pipe organ music. Numerous prestigious organists, such as Lorenzo Ghielmi or Olivier Latry, perform pieces ranging from Lutheran chorales to contemporary music on the most beautiful instruments in Europe.
