To Dance Is To Live

Olga Žitluhina, founder of the contemporary dance in Latvia, choreographer and dance teacher, has been dancing for fifty years. She is original, untamed and inspiring, always free and independent. She is the director of her life where dance is always present and everywhere and she does not let anybody or anything interfere with it. Olga practices “the joy to dance” and reaches the catharsis. But where to find joy when there is none? Together with Olga Žitluhina and her talented students the film crew documents unique merging of dance and different cultures in Georgia, Venice and Latvia.
