Tribute To Carolyn Carlson

This unique evening is an encounter between a myth and promises, between homage and advent. Dancers from the Carolyn Carlson Company and the Cannes Jeune Ballet Rosella Hightower follow one another on the stage to perform four pieces by the only holder of the title of “star choreographer”: “The Seventh man”, “Wind Women” , “Mandala” (three pieces taken from the show “Islands”) and “It's alright”. It will be up to Carolyn Carlson herself to conclude this evening which is entirely dedicated to her, with a solo entitled “Prologue” (“Islands”). Certainly one of the most moving moments in the history of Vaison Danses.
