When Voices Break Down Boundaries – 50 Years Of Arnold Schoenberg Choir

The Arnold Schoenberg Choir is one of the most important vocal ensembles in Europe. In 2022 it celebrates the 50th anniversary of its founding. This is the occasion for a film documentary about the world-famous and highly decorated ensemble. The focus is on the people who make up the Arnold Schoenberg Choir. It becomes tangible that the choir is a lively, multi-layered human and artistic biotope. "A day without a choir encounter is not a day for me", says founder and director Erwin Ortner. This film is the chronicle of an extraordinary, unifying musical passion.
