Guernica

"Guernica" is a short dance film, based on the stage ballet of the same name. The piece was choreographed by Annabelle Lopez Ochoa for Unbound, San Francisco Ballet's new works festival in 2018. The film opens with a portrayal of Picasso painting ideas for his famous mural, Guernica. We "enter" into his imagination as dancers embody the animals battling and emotions portrayed in the large masterpiece.
