  • Sergey Krylov © Mary Slepkova

Refined musicality, brilliant virtuosity combined with deep lyricism and the beauty of sound are just some of the qualities that make Sergey Krylov one of the most outstanding musicians. He was widely known after winning first awards at the International Stradivari Competition in Cremona and the International Kreisler Competition in Vienna. Mstislav Rostropovich, with whom the musician often played together, wrote: “Sergey Krylov is among the five best modern violinists in the world”. Together with the magnificent pianist Boris Berezovsky, he performed Beethoven's Kreutzer Sonata as well as Kreisler's Caprice Viennois and Schön Rosmarin.
