Doctor Zhivago by Boris Pasternak is among Russia's most famous forbidden novels. Despite its numerous artistic adaptations, this is the first time the epic tale comes to life on a ballet stage. The ballet was created especially for the Ljubljana ensemble by two outstanding Czech artists, the brothers Jiri and Oto Bubenicek. We are presenting two of the most beautiful duets from the ballet.
