The Grand Opera is a professional TV competition for young singers. Its main goal is to reveal the new names of gifted young vocalists and to promote them to become popular. The project has been attracting a huge interest among viewers for 6 seasons, already. The authors of the project manage to strike a necessary balance: to create a bright programme coming up to the expectations of the contemporary audience, a programme that tempers the elements of colourful show and academic concert and, as a result, attracts various categories of viewers. A highly professional International Jury evaluates the performances of the competitors.
