The Statement

The Statement is a play with four characters locked between their interests and the morality of their actions. Four dancers from NDT 1 dance around an oval table, each on the voice-over of their character. Realistic and cold, we recognize both the characters and the linguistic style as being of our world and our time: "For generations, they have been fighting, all we have done is to use this conflict. Used as an opportunity for investment, for growth." Now, being asked to take responsibility for their actions to exonerate their superiors, they must make a statement.
