A beat. Everything begins with a beat, a rhythm and movement. That’s just what brings together different forms of dance. To celebrate the anniversary of the Paris Opera, the Academy, in collaboration with Juste Debout, will be offering the public a grand Battle at the Palais Garnier. After regional heats, the winners will gather together on 26 December 2019 to compete in the finals on the stage of the Opera Garnier. Between the hip-hop battles, the audience will also have a chance to appreciate the virtuosity and excellence of some of the great stars of street dance, such as Salah.
