Berlioz's colossal Requiem is performed at the Philharmonie de Paris. This score of all superlatives and extravagances requires an exceptional number of musicians, combining two orchestras, the Orchestre de Paris and the Orchestre du Conservatoire de Paris; two choirs, the Chœur de l’Orchestre de Paris and the Orféon Donostiarra; tenor Frédéric Antoun, all under the baton of Pablo Heras-Casado.
