The lives of two outstanding personalities; two brothers who have gone side-by-side since childhood. Andrejs Žagars was born in Siberia, Juris Žagars in Latvia. Both became theatre and cinema actors, both started their business in the 1990s – Andrejs as a restaurateur, Juris as an owner of a ski resort. Later, both of them became managers of cultural institutions – Juris at the Cēsis Concert Hall, while Andrejs’ life work was heading the Latvian National Opera for 17 years, making it a renowned opera venue in Europe. Life itself rewrote the script of the film as Andrejs passed away during the filming.
