Benjamin Britten: Les Illuminations

Norwegian soprano Mari Eriksmoen is soloist in Benjamin Brittens song cycle Les Illuminations, composed for soprano and string orchestra. Text by Arthur Rimbaud. This work was included in the purely digital concert series Close up – At A Distance. The whole series, consisting of eight concerts, was recorded and streamed in April, May and June 2020 when the orchestra was not allowed to play for a live audience in the hall.
