Karita Mattila’s Summer Concert – Savonlinna Opera Festival

The summery programme features opera arias like Song To The Moon from Rusalka, songs by Sibelius and Merikanto, and classics from films and musicals. ”I’m really looking forward to singing at the castle and performing with Ville the programme we specifically put together for this unique occasion,” soprano Karita Mattila rejoiced before the concert. With the Opera Festival’s Artistic Director Ville Matvejeff performing as pianist, the concert has been recorded in the Olavinlinna central hall at the end of June.
