Hosted by singer and virtuoso percussionist Sheila E., Latin Jazz (WT) follows the Raices Jazz Orchestra, an international Big Band project that navigates the deep and intricate rhythms of Latin America. With producers and band leaders Tony Succar and Pablo Gil, the band features 30 world-class musicians, including GRAMMY winner Richard Bona and Latin GRAMMY winners Anaadi and Rodner Padilla, performing original compositions and new takes on beloved standards. Recorded in the USA, Peru, Spain, Brazil, and Cuba, interviews and behind the scenes footage are included throughout, celebrating the legacy of immigrant culture and jazz, America’s classical music.
