Piano In Japan
The first Japanese to hear the sound of piano is said to be Daikokuya Kodayu, a merchant from the Edo Period, the era of the samurai. The place was in Saint Petersburg under the reign of Ekaterina II. Fast forward more than 200 years, the music documentary follows the history of the Japanese and the piano with early piano pieces created by Japanese composers. The pieces are performed by young talented pianists and recorded in 2K images and 5.1 surround sound.
