Piotr Anderszewski – Bach: Well-Tempered Clavier Book II – 12 Preludes And Fugues

Bach's Well-tempered Clavier is considered the "Old Testament" of keyboard music. With his second book of 24 preludes and fugues in all major and minor keys, the composer surpassed himself, challenging the performer with even greater difficulties than those found in his first book. Pianist Piotr Anderszewski has selected 12 preludes and fugues, taking us through a 80 minute long concentrated odyssey during which technical and intellectual obstacles are overcome in order to reveal the structure and beauty of each piece.
